Deep Cove parents and guardians,

 

Following a school district board meeting last night, Andreas Clesle has been appointed to Principal with assignment to Deep Cove Elementary effective August 1, 2025. Mr. Clesle has extensive teaching experience as an intermediate homeroom teacher, English Language Support (ELS) teacher, English Language Learner (ELL) teacher as well as being our district’s Literacy Intervention Coordinator. Andreas has most recently been Vice-Principal at Sidney Elementary where he led the inclusive education team, and helped create inclusive spaces within the school including programming that supported both the needs of designated and non-designated students. Andreas is known not only for his passion around inclusion and literacy, but for working with all partners and stakeholders to ensure that every child has the best opportunities for success. I know Jodi Beaudry and Andreas Clesle will make a great Deep Cove administrative team starting in September.
